Who we are
Vidhu Academy (“we”) operates this business registration portal and decides how the information you submit is used. Contact us about your data at YOUR-PRIVACY-EMAIL.
What we collect
- Owner details: name, and optionally date of birth, community and sub-community.
- Business details: business name, incorporation date, business model, industry, registration number, annual turnover (approximate range), GST registration status and GSTIN, description and website.
- Location: country, state/region, city, postal code, business address and (optionally) residential address.
- Contact details: mobile, WhatsApp and alternative numbers, and email address.
- Email verification: if enabled, a one-time code is emailed to your business address; we store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it for a few minutes, and we email you a confirmation after you register.
Fields not marked as required are optional. Please do not enter information you are not comfortable sharing. Community and date of birth can be sensitive; we ask for them only if the portal operator needs them.
Why we use it
To create and administer your business registration record and to contact you about it. We do not display your personal details publicly through this form.
How we protect it
Connections use HTTPS. Date of birth and residential address are encrypted in our database. Verification and confirmation emails are sent through our email provider. Only authorised administrators can view records, and their access is logged.
Who can see it
Authorised administrators of this portal and our hosting and infrastructure providers, who process data on our behalf. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your record while your registration is active or as long as needed for the purpose above, and delete it when you ask us to or when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information, to object to its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email YOUR-PRIVACY-EMAIL.
